Senior Program Manager

With over 13 years of experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and gender inclusivity, Adelina plays a key role in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence. As a trusted advisor to the Executive Director, she supports high-level decision-making, represents the organization in key forums, and fosters partnerships that enhance impact. She leads and supervises program teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while optimizing operational efficiency. Passionate about gender equality and inclusivity, she actively supports initiatives like Girls in ICT and EmpowerHER and leads the flagship DOKU.TECH event. Through her leadership in fundraising, governance, and risk management, Adelina strengthens the organization’s ability to create meaningful change. Outside of work, Adelina enjoys spending time out in nature with her kids, listening to Coldplay, and watching tv-shows.

Artina Muçiqi

Program and
Communications Manager

Artina leads the design, implementation, and management of key programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, quality standards, and financial requirements. She oversees multiple projects, facilitates communication between teams and stakeholders, and prepares detailed reports on program outcomes and impact. She strengthens stakeholder engagement, builds strategic partnerships, and represents the organization at events and initiatives. Artina also manages communications and marketing, developing promotional campaigns, overseeing social media strategies, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. She plays a key role in managing major initiatives like DOKU.TECH and EmpowerHER, as well as projects funded by our partners. Outside of work, Artina finds joy in spending time with her daughter Majla, her greatest inspiration. She loves good food, great company, and diving into TV, films, and series. Whether managing large-scale events, designing impactful strategies, or embracing moments of creativity and joy in her personal life, Artina brings energy, passion, and a human touch to everything she does.

Anita Plakolli

Development Manager

Anita leads organizational development, grant research, project design, and donor engagement to secure sustainable funding and expand the organization’s impact. She works closely with the team to shape strategic growth, ensure a culture of continuous learning, and align resources with long-term goals. Passionate about people, she ensures staff development, performance evaluations, and structured career growth while strengthening organizational effectiveness. With a strategic mindset, Anita proactively identifies challenges, refines strategies, and keeps leadership well-informed, ensuring the organization stays resilient, forward-thinking, and aligned with its mission. With a focus in social inclusion, gender equality, human rights and education, she specializes in fundraising, grant writing, M&E, and organizational development. With over 15 years of experience, Anita has led projects that empower marginalized groups, especially children, youth and women. In her free time, she enjoys singing, good food, even better music and best thrillers.

Visar Kurti

Finance Manager

Visar is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization, ensuring that strategies are not only financially sound but also tightly aligned with the organization’s long-term goals. His role goes well beyond crunching numbers, it’s about building a sustainable financial future through careful planning, strategic foresight, and data-driven decision-making. While traditional finance may focus on short-term wins, Visar takes a broader view, integrating financial strategy into the heart of organizational development. With a master’s degree in marketing at University of Prishtina and 15 years of financial experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Visar brings both depth and versatility to his work. His professional journey includes financial consulting and managing roles with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, ORCA, Teach For Kosova, and United for Animals. He has also worked with private sector companies such as Scampa Manufacturing & Trading Co., as well as U.S.-based firms including UA Builders, WeWork, and Matrix Technology Group LLC. When he's not aligning budgets with strategy, Visar taps into his creative side. A dedicated guitarist, he’s spent years performing in the local metal scene, proving that balance sheets and power chords can, in fact, coexist. He also enjoys doing street photography, hiking, and climbing the breathtaking mountains of Kosova, ideally not all at once.

Miranda Vula

Admin and Finance Officer

Miranda ensures the smooth financial and administrative operations of our organization. She maintains financial records, processes payments and reimbursements, and assists in preparing donor reports while ensuring compliance and accuracy. She also manages procurement and financial documentation, keeping everything organized and up to date. In administration and logistics, Miranda handles legal and contractual communications, maintains organized records, and manages office supplies, utilities, and travel arrangements for the team. She plays a key role in human resources, preparing employment contracts, overseeing timesheets and leave management, and supporting recruitment and onboarding. Additionally, Miranda provides general administrative support, assists in updating office policies, and ensures seamless day-to-day operations. Miranda enjoys healthy food, making different cakes for the team to enjoy, and going on walks on nice sunny days.

Kaltrina Thaqi

PR, Communication and Design Assistant

Kaltrina brings creativity, clarity, and purpose to The Foundation House’s voice by blending design and storytelling into communications that inform and inspire. As PR, Communication, and Design Assistant, she plays a vital role in turning our mission into compelling narratives, both visual and written. From concept to execution, she’s involved in every step: crafting eye-catching visuals, developing content strategies, and shaping materials that reflect our values and connect with our communities. Working closely with the Program and Communications Manager, Kaltrina supports campaign development, event branding, and visual consistency across all channels. She also assists with press releases, digital content coordination, and internal communications. Her keen eye for detail and strong design sensibility help transform complex ideas into clear, engaging formats that amplify our impact. Outside of work, Kaltrina is passionate about book design, and visual arts. She finds joy in capturing the beauty of everyday moments, whether through a camera lens or a written verse. A lover of nature, long walks, and deep conversations, she thrives in creative spaces and brings warmth and thoughtfulness wherever she goes.

Rion Sermaxhaj

Tech and Logistics Assistant

Rion ensures the seamless operation of IT systems and logistics, providing vital support for events, workshops, and daily organizational activities. He assists with technical setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring that software, hardware, and equipment function smoothly. Keeping an up-to-date inventory, he tracks IT resources and ensures they are ready for use. In logistics and event coordination, Rion manages transportation, schedules, and documentation to keep operations running efficiently. He supports event logistics, maintaining accurate records and assisting with on-site setup and technical needs. Beyond tech and logistics, Rion collaborates with team members to streamline communication and coordination, providing support to students, mentors, and staff during activities. Outside of work, he's very good at impersonating public figures, he's never late, he constantly misplaces his car keys, and prioritizes helping others in any way he can.

Loreta Zharjani

Hub Training Assistant

Loreta, a graduate in Media and Communication, joined our team in 2024. supports youth participation by facilitating workshops, monitoring student progress, and ensuring an inclusive environment. She assists in managing the Innovation Hub in Gjilan, handling daily operations, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder coordination. She also tracks project deliverables, prepares reports, and submits monthly updates to the Project Manager and Senior Program Manager. In communication and outreach, Loreta represents the Hub at events, builds relationships with youth and schools, develops promotional materials, and serves as the primary contact for inquiries. She also manages logistics for workshops and events, ensuring smooth execution Outside of work, she’s a pro at misplacing her keys, pretending to know every song’s lyrics while blasting them at full volume, and starting TV shows with full enthusiasm... only to never finish them!

Miranda Korpuzi

HUB Project Officer - Lipjan Team

Miranda oversees the daily operations of the Innovation Hub in Lipjan, managing partnerships with schools, municipalities, and stakeholders to ensure impactful youth engagement. She tracks project deliverables, maintains accurate records, and ensures the Hub runs smoothly.She supports financial management and reporting, collecting and organizing financial documents, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with guidelines while preparing reports.Miranda plays a key role in training and capacity building, facilitating workshops, mentoring students and mentors, and developing communication materials for outreach and recruitment. As the primary contact for the Hub, she ensures clear communication, promotes activities, and fosters an inclusive learning environment for young people.

Jetmire Maloku

Hub Training Officer - Gjilan Team

Jetmira is responsible for managing the Innovation Hub in Gjilan, overseeing its daily functions and fostering strong collaborations with schools, local authorities, and key stakeholders. She ensures seamless coordination with municipal representatives and the education sector while keeping detailed records of Hub activities and project milestones. Her role extends to financial oversight, where she organizes and processes financial documentation, monitors expenditures, and ensures adherence to financial regulations. Jetmira also drives training and capacity-building initiatives, conducting workshops for students and mentors, tracking their progress, and developing outreach materials to engage new participants. In her after work life she enjoys cooking delicious meals and binge-watching Netflix shows one after another.
