for Employability
The Education for Employability (E-Squared) program is aimed to bridge school and work by providing young people with the assurance and guidance necessary to define their own futures. By addressing students in 11th grade within Fushe Kosova, Gjakova, and Mitrovica, the program provided the next generation of the population with the tools and guidance necessary for entry into useful careers and establishing entrepreneurial ventures.
In addition to encouraging creativity and problem-solving through critical and design thinking, we gave students useful, in-demand technological skills to help them succeed in the digital age. We enabled them to confidently traverse a constantly changing world by fostering their ability to come up with creative answers to pressing problems.
Beyond technical proficiency, we fostered leadership by giving students a feeling of accountability and the bravery to take charge, enabling them to not only lead initiatives and effect change, but also to actively participate in their communities and beyond.
Through workshops, practical learning, and extracurricular activities, the program improved students’ entrepreneurial knowledge and abilities to support self-employment while raising their awareness of professional opportunities. By developing these skills, education for employability assisted in molding future leaders who would be able to make a significant contribution to the socioeconomic advancement of Kosovo.
