Are you ready to explore the world of Artificial Intelligence and build real solutions for your community?
The Foundation House invites young people from Gjilan, Lipjan, Prizren, Gjakova and Prishtina to join AI4Youth, a unique program that helps youth gain practical skills in AI, green energy solutions, civic tech, digital innovation, and entrepreneurship.
AI4Youth brings together learning, creativity, and teamwork through regional hackathons where young participants collaborate to design and develop AI prototypes addressing real challenges.
What will you gain?
During the hackathons, participants will:
- Gain hands-on experience with AI tools, methods, and applications
- Apply AI to sustainability and green energy challenges (e.g. energy efficiency, smart resource management, data-driven environmental solutions)
- Develop civic tech solutions addressing community-level needs
- Strengthen digital innovation and entrepreneurial thinking
- Design and prototype functional AI solutions in team-based settings
After the hackathons, selected teams will:
- Enter a post-hackathon mentorship and incubation phase
- Receive expert guidance to further refine and validate their solutions
- Strengthen both technical implementation and entrepreneurial readiness of their AI prototypes
Who can apply?
- Young people ages 15–29
- Residents of Gjilan, Lipjan, Prizren, Gjakova or Prishtina
- Motivated to participate actively in hackathons and follow-up mentorship
- Curious about AI, technology, green energy, civic tech, or entrepreneurship
- No previous experience in AI required, just motivation and willingness to learn
