Across Kosovo, a new chapter is unfolding. 78 young girls are stepping confidently into a world that once felt distant, the world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Digital Marketing and UI/UX Design.
Through our #EmpowerHer initiative, we are implementing the first phase of this inspiring initiative. These young girls are scholarship recipients who are now embarking on specialized training with Beetroot Academy and Digital School, gaining knowledge and skills that are not only shaping industries but redefining the future of work itself.
In Digital Marketing, they are discovering how to craft powerful stories, build brands with impact, design smart campaigns, and communicate strategically in today’s digital world. The UI/UX Design track is teaching them how to design the digital spaces we’ll all navigate in the future, blending creativity with functionality through research, prototyping, and thoughtful design. Meanwhile in the AI and Machine Learning courses, these girls are learning how to design, train, and evaluate algorithms that enable computers to recognize patterns, make decisions, and improve from data without being explicitly programmed.
These training courses are split into two different forms of learning. Some participants are meeting their instructors in person, filling classrooms with questions, ideas, and energy. Others are joining online, managing their studies, life, and now a powerful new learning journey. Whether they are learning on-site or virtually, their spirit and drive remain equally strong.
This initiative is about transformation. It’s about ensuring that opportunities are not reserved for a few but extended to every girl, regardless of where she comes from or the barriers she faces. It’s about providing the space, the support, and the resources for young women to believe in their potential and to build their futures with confidence.
Each coding exercise, each conversation, and each small victory along the way are laying the foundation for a world where girls are not only participants in tech but leaders and innovators.
