Capacity Building Workshops and Follow-up Mentorship on Child Rights, Digital Safety, and Monitoring Tools
The Foundation House is seeking qualified facilitators/trainers to support the implementation of the project “Advancing Children’s Rights Through Digital Innovation”, implemented with the support of Save the Children Kosovo and funded by Sida.
The assignment focuses on designing and delivering participatory capacity-building workshops for children and youth aged 15–18 on:
- Children’s rights and participation;
- Digital citizenship and online safety;
- Community-based monitoring tools and feedback mechanisms;
- Digital data collection, reporting, and monitoring platforms.
Selected trainers will facilitate regionally distributed workshops in Gjilan, Lipjan, Gjakova, and Fushë Kosovë, while also providing follow-up mentorship support to help participants apply their knowledge through practical monitoring and advocacy activities.
The initiative aims to strengthen children’s capacities to understand, monitor, and advocate for their rights in digital and community environments through inclusive, child-friendly, and participatory approaches.
Key Requirements
Applicants should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in training, facilitation, or youth engagement;
- Experience working with children and young people;
- Knowledge of child rights, digital safety, participation, and civic engagement;
- Practical experience with digital monitoring and reporting tools;
- Understanding of safeguarding standards and child-centered methodologies.
